HP Spectre x360 - 13-4110nd

Approximately 1 month ago my HP spectre x360 suddenly stopped working. I couldn't turn it on and it didn't respond when I tried to charge it. I initially thought it was a defect in the battery however when I let someone check it out it became clear that the Mother board died..

In the two years that I have this laptop I never had problems with it until (after the warranty) this happened, I have always been really careful with it. After doing some research I found out that this is a very common problem! A LOT of people have been complaining about a failing mother board in the HP SPECTRE X360 just after the warranty and I see a consistent problem here! HP should recall the HP spectre x360 but they won't.

I bought this laptop for 1100 euro believing that I bought a quality product.. I will never buy a HP product again or recommend it to anyone, unless HP will do the right thing, which is replacing the Mother board with a proper one and compensating the costs!!

Well, I tried to arrange it with HP but they were everything except helpful. I had to wait weeks between emails or calls, I got directed to several offices and departments and after months I decided to let it repair by a specialist (so just pay for it yourself). It is a manufacturing error, an insane amount of exact the same cases for the same model. They deny this though. If you want a fast solution, let it be repaired by either HP or another specialist, you're gonna pay tho. I paid around 300 euros and the specialist didn't make any profit on it. We tried to replace some components such as the battery but in the end it was the motherboard that was burned. I will never buy an HP laptop again. It works now tho. Good luck.
