HP Spectre Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a HP Spectre Laptop which is about 2 years old.

I just noticed that the screen is physically detaching  ("pulling away") from main body of the device.

The top and bottom of the screen are still attached but both sides have detached and the screen now has a "bow" or "bends" outward.

1) How did this happen?  Cause?

2) Can it be fixed? How?

3) If I don't address this issue, is there a chance the entire screen will detach?

Thanks,

Rob.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, this sounds like a hardware related issue. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
