HP Spectre x360 - 13-4127tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Purchased a Crucial 1tb PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD to upgrade my HP Spectre x360 - 13-4127tu. I have managed to clone the existing 256g drive with Marcium Reflect but the new 1tb drive will not boot when installed in the PC. Windows error "Unrecognised device". The new Crucial drive product number is CT1000P3SSD8 https://www.crucial.com/ssd/p3/CT1000P3SSD8, maybe its not compatible?

Yes it is not compatible. One of the early models to use M.2 SSD. Its SATA only. All M.2 slots are physically the same. Some support either NVME or SATA; yours is SATA only.

Thanks for the prompt response. I will search out a suitable SATA drive and use the the NVMe in another project.
