Hello,
I purchased a HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx in 2018. Last year I started getting BSODs more frequently with the error message WHEA_Uncorrectable_Error. The last month it has become significantly worse, at this point the laptop is barely usable since the BSOD with the stop code happens seemingly at random.
I have tried cleaning out the fans (quite a lot of dust there) and also completely reset the laptop, wiping the memory of the harddrive and reinstalling the OS.
All type system diagnostics have been run, including windows memory tests. All tests pass.
The error still remains.
From what I have understood the error is hardware related. From other sources I have found out that the issue could be the harddrive/ram/motherboard. In these cases (as the ram i soldered onto the x360 Spectre) it seems like it is a dead end and the laptop is beyond repair at a reasonable price?
The laptop otherwise works fine,
what are my options? I would hope not to let it go since it has worked well and still suits my needs,
