battery indicator stuck at 66%. won't go up.battery indicator stuck at 66%. won't go up.

I have an issue with the battery indicator. I don't know if this is a hardware or software issue. Even when plugged in, it's at 66%. This is still the case even if I left it overnight. It doesn't go higher like it used to.

Please help.

I clicked on the link www.hp.com/contacthp/ and several navigation clicks later I ended up back here. Is there a link that would take me directly to a marketplace where I can buy the battery? Does HP have a marketplace for replacement parts?
