Hi,
my charger port has broken and I also need to find a replacement batter for this particular model.
Can you tell me if these are compatible (I am in the UK):
Replacement charger port: https://www.onlinelaptopbatteries.co.uk/index.aspx?pageid=1222107&prodid=20332994&gs=1¤cy=GBP&...
Also, will this USB C charger work with my particular HP laptop as it isn't clear:
Can I also ask why these kinds of replacements cannot be purchased from HP?
Would you know what has caused my batter to swell like this? It seems to be a problem many others have had.
I don't expect a laptop this expensive to fall apart like this. I see there was a battery recall a little while back. Is this still the case and did it cover my particular model?
Any hep would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have a vertically identical problem. My laptop is exact same model and I too need to replace the battery and a broken DC Jack.
I put mine in for repair in the UK with Curry's. I sent it off over 2 weeks ago only to be told they didn't even bother checking it as they can't get parts for that particular model.
What the heck is going on here when you cannot order parts for a less than 3 year old very expensive laptop? I am absolutely furious with HP. This is not right at all. I know I am out of warranty but I should still be able to order a battery and other parts for this particular model.
I am disgusted too that HP have not responded to your post. Why not?
Come on HP, tell us precisely where we can order these parts. Do the decent think=g here and help us. I cannot afford a brand new replacement laptop as was crucified by the pandemic. Help us out here!
