Hi, So im having an issue with my HP Spectre x360 - 15-ch004na, Im trying to do some CPU intesive work and i notcied that after about 30 min of 100% load the core speed will drop from 3.2ghz down to 1.1ghz, Now I thought it may have been a thermal issue so I checked the temps using core temp and open hardware monitor and the core sits at around 95 then slowly goes down to 60 as the cpu clocks down and even the fans get a little slower which is not right at all. I updated the bios to the latest version and the issue still persists and I even tried using Ubutnu to see if the issue is the same and it is infact it is a little worse on linux with it dropping down to 400Mhz.
It seams there is something wrong with the thermal throttling in the chip as even tho the chip is getting cooler it still continues to throttle.
