Good day!

It seems that my notebook has become so much slower sinds i installed windows 11.
Scrolling down the photos in lightroom never goes smooth. Working on a photo takes ages.

It is not that i edit multiple photos at once. And i gave my notbook a complete reset and only photoshop, lightroom en creative cloud are installed. i dont run photoshop and lightroom at the same time.

It has a 6 core processor, 8ggb DD4 ram and a Geforce GTX 1050Ti with 4GB.
I know it aint going to be the fastest these days but i cant believe that it aint possible with a system like this to just scroll down my photos without extremely lagging all the time.

Would there be something wrong with the notebook? Or would my problem be solved with a memory upgrade? Is it even possible to do a memory upgrade on this notebook?

Maybe some part(s) are defect?

Thank you for your advice!

It is more likely that it is because you installed an unsupported operating system.

You can get Windows 11 chipset drivers from Intel and  search for some of the rest from the Microsoft Windows 11 update catalog

Erico, thank you for your reply. I tried your possible solution but it doesnt make a difference. Ik guess it will have to be a new notebook..

Thanks for trying to help!

Did you consider installing the original operating system?
