Hi there,

Certain keys on my keyboard have stopped working. I've run a keyboard check and it shows that jusrt a certain area of the keyboard isn't working including the backspace, hash, enter and numlock keys. It seems to be a hardware issue

Any ideas on solutions? Where can I source a replacement keyboard?

Thank you in advance

Not a very old laptop. Still under warranty?

For use in the United Kingdom L95657-031

Service Manual:

Manual

Problem is the Manual does not spell out how to replace the keyboard. However, unlike most current models the keyboard can be separated from the top cover. I am sure an experienced tech can figure out how to replace the keyboard but I wish the manual were more explicit.

HP Parts Store UK does not have it. This one from eBay is sold at a very high price but the best I could find:

If HP had it the price would likely be similar.
