HP Spectre X360 T6T09UA-ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP diagnostics shows primary  HDD Bay hard drive failure. The original SSD drive was 256 GB, I would like to go with 1TB drive at this time.

The site that specializes on HP part replacement is rather expensive, they charge $178 for 1TB SSD drive https://www.laptopinventory.com/ModelDetail.php/HP/Spectre%20X360/T6T09UA-ABA/SSD%20Hard%20Drive/999...

Please advise, can you I get cheaper and compatible 1TB SSD drive for HP Spectre X360 T6T09UA-ABA

Thank you,

Your machine is an HP Spectre x360 - 15-ap012dx, its specs

               https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04956734

It has  256 GB mSATA SSD now. The following compatible drives are  cheaper

It is much better to clone old drive to new drive first and swap them. Normally you have to

(a) Mount new drive to an USB to M.2 SATA adapter

            https://www.amazon.com/M-2-External-Converter-Adapter-Enclosure/dp/B076DCNZM3

(b) Use free cloning software to clone old drive to new drive

            https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/five-apps/five-free-and-reliable-cloning-tools/

(c) Physical swap old and new.

Hello Benhien

Actually, I don't believe it's a physical disk failure. The message I get when I press F11 is

File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD

Status: 0xc000000f

Info: The Boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains errors.

Does HP provides repair tools I can download onto flash drive, boot from there and repair my boot sector?

Thank you,

-Ilya
