Hello! The camera stopped starting on the HP Specter x360 - 13-ap000. Who faced similar what to do?

@Vladim1r Greetings from the HP Community!

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • Did you check the webcam is listed in Device Manager?

Meanwhile, I suggest you perform a hard reset using the below steps:

  • Let's perform a power reset as per HP standards:
  • Ensure your laptop is OFF.
  • Unplug all the external devices (If any).
  • Disconnect the power charger from the computer, and remove the battery.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
  • Connect the power supply (power adapter).
  • Press the power button to turn on your laptop.
  • Then put your battery back.
