Product: HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-bl1XX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can anyone tell me the part number of the HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-bl1XX speaker kit or left speaker? It appears my speaker is blown (it cuts in and out horribly and sounds blown). I can't find any part numbers for a replacement speaker.

Firsly please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.


(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
     https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101041.exe
(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

 

If that could not solve the problem, please use the following way to find out what is your machine and post back to get part # for your speakers.

             

              https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108


Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Thanks, I performed a driver update/reinstall as you outlined and my speaker is still cutting in and out.
