My laptop fell and the adapter broke. It’s an older PC and I’m having a hard time finding a replacement HP part. I bought a generic adapter that said it’s supports this laptop but when plugged it in it said “recommends you use original hp product”. It seems to charge but I wonder if I’m damaging my laptop by not using an ho product.
I bought this adapter from Amazon. Is this ok to use?
It’s called:
DEXPT 90 watt usb-c adapter.
