Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After the last Windows 10 Update on 24/01/19 = 2019 - 01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 (KB4476976). The Update screen has an Error Encounted = "We could'nt connect to the update service. We'll try later, or you can check now"

I have been trying every day! It is also happening on my older ACER and HP laptops runnig Windows 10 version 1809.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Hi,

Try downloading the update and installing yourself. It is the third in the list in Microsoft web page below:

https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4476976

Thank you David. I have already installed the M/S update KB4476976  on 24/01/19. It is since then that the VPN Service is not working. I think its something to do with the VPN tunnel being blocked. Ask F5 customer support has information on it.

Which VPN service are you using?

 

I use Express VPN on my HP Product loan Spectre x360 15-ch000 CTO notebook and have not had any issues with the service.
