Product: HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-ch0xx -
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-inch laptop has developed a bulge that creates a gap on the front and two sides. I understand this is likely the battery.  The unit was bought on September 21, 1918. 

 

I would  like to have instruction on how to get that repaired.

Any luck finding the correct part number?

 

It seems like this particular HP laptop is a pos that battery swelling is a common occurrence and usually will happen after the warranty has passed. Good job HP. This is the last HP I will ever buy.

Yes, I did. The HP part number for that specific 15-ch0xx model is 928372-856.  

 

Agree that this unacceptable to have such a major failure 6 months after the warranty ends.
