My HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15t-bl100 CTO (Product ID 1VW22AV) has a very noticeable bulge, especially on the mouse trackpad. It is most likely from the battery. I plan to buy a replacement battery and replace it myself, but I need some help.
I ran the HP Hardware Diagnostics Tool, and it provided a part number for the battery: KB06079XL. Is anyone able to confirm if this is correct? And if so, is there a manual somewhere that would tell me how to replace the battery? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi:
Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook's product number:
The battery part number and description is:
902499-856 | ASSY-6CELL BATTERY 79WH 3.43AH LI KB0607 |
HP does not sell the battery, so you will have to find it from a reseller.
HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - Compaq Parts
Search by the part number.
Below is the link to the service manual.
I suggest that you remove the battery to prevent further physical damage to your notebook.
I recommend that you read the info at the link below to minimize the chance for battery swelling in the future.
