So basically i've had my laptop for less then 18 months and from the start it has been nothing but problems. The over heating and loud fan i was told by best buy was a normal occurance they also told me this about the slow speeds and hang ups i was getting while using adobe products which is why i bought the laptop in the first place. Ive read many other complaints about theirs doing the exact same thing and did a little digging myself as to what is causing the problem. Well this is what i found:
not only does it rank well below what other laptops with the same parts but i also did some digging on the Nividia GPU and found that the Nividia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti with max-q design isn't fast enough to handle the 3840 x 2160 screen it comes with and at max can handle 1080, in order to compensate for the slow gpu they are overclocking it and thats why the fan is constantly on high and why the laptop gets super warm its because they are shipping the laptops out with overclocked cpu's to try and hide the fact that they used one that can't even handle what the laptop is built with.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent Windows 11 OS update?
I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
- Shut down the computer, and then inspect and clean the exterior vents to remove dust buildup by blowing air through the vent openings. Dust can accumulate inside the vent openings and around internal cooling components, preventing the removal of heat.
For more information on the fan: HP Notebook PCs - Fan Is Noisy and Spins Constantly
- Perform a hard reset. Performing a hard reset can reset recorded thermal values in memory and enable you to use the computer again, even if only for a short time, to access and save any important files before service.
For more information on performing a hard reset, see Use Hard Reset to Resolve Hardware and Software Issues.
- In some cases, updating the BIOS might help prevent the noisy operation from occurring. For more information on how to update the BIOS, see Updating the BIOS.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

This is a hardware problem the graphics card is too slow for the 4K oled screen there’s no amount of resetting or configuration that can solve this problem, it’s like trying to drive a Porsche 911 in 6 ft of snow, it’s not going to go any faster.
