HP Spectre x360 - 13t-aw000 CTO

My HP Spectre x360 has been completely fine for the past 2.5 years with truly no issue until a few days ago when my screen went black and the caps lock button was giving a blinking code. I took it in to a local computer repair store where after they took it apart and also looked up the blink code informed me that the entire motherboard needs to be replaced and that 90% of customers at that point just buy a new laptop.

I came to the HP website to see if anyone has experienced the same things and it looks to be an unfortunately common issue? I have seen many posts asking why the motherboard hasn't been recalled yet, etc, and I am quite frustrated at this point considering it seems to be an ongoing issue with other customers. I have LOVED my laptop and was not expecting to have to replace it (as we all know, thousands of dollars) especially not with an issue that HP seems to be aware of and hasn't recalled.
