Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 2017 HP Spectre x360 which uses USB-C charging ports. Today, one of the ports (the main port I've been using) stopped working with the charger. The charger does work with the second port thankfully, but I'm worried what would happen if the second port gives out as well. I've been reading about similar problems here in the forums, but none of the proposed solutions worked for me (updating the BIOS, reseting the embedded controller, checking the device manager for driver issues). Would appreciate any help with restroring functionality to the USB-C port.

Hi KrazyToad,

I don't get the chat option for some reason, and I don't have the time while at work to wait on the phone (it's been saying "we are temporarily experiencing longer wait times to reach an agent." for a while now). Is there an Email or web option to contact support?

Thanks!

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Thank you
