HP Spectre x360 - USB-C Not Recognizing Anything

I have an HP Spectre x360 (13-w0XX) that I’ve been using since Jan 2017. I also use a CalDigit USB-C docking station to both power my system and an audio mixer. Last month, my computer stopped reading a USB-C CAC reader. I replaced it with a USB 2.0 reader but when I plugged it into my docking station, the system stopped recognizing the docking station. It stopped reading anything plugged into the UBS-C port (except for the HP power cord). I’ve had this issue in the past, but it wasn’t anything that a simple restart couldn’t solve.

I checked the Device Manager and it says that all devices are running properly and have the most current drivers. However, as I write this, my system isn’t recognizing the docking station but it is recognizing a wireless keyboard/mouse combo plugged into the USB 3.0 port.

Finally, I’ve also tried changing the power options in the Power Management tab, unchecked the “Turn on Fast Startup” option, restarted the system, and tried holding the power button for 30 seconds.

Does anyone have suggestions to help fix this issue? It looks like this is a pretty common problem with these models and I’m considering replacing it with a Dell XPS 13 if I can't get it resolved.

Looks like compatible issue. Anyway, what is your Spectre x360 13-w0XX ? For example

               HP Spectre x360 - 13-w023dx

Your machine could be very close to the above machine.  I know for sure:  your CalDigit USB-C docking station is not compatible with above HP machine, probably same as yours.
