Hi HP-community,
I have a problem with my Spectre... It is extremely hot from time to time (especially while watching videos)... up to 90 °C!!! The fan doesn't start to work until the laptop is already very, very hot. Then at a certain point (I burned myself couple of times...) the fan start to work and slowly it cools down...
Is there a possibility (Software, Bios, whatever) to contol the fan speed? Or to change a fan-profile?
I already tried updating my BIOS and changing the profile in the HP Command Center... Is there another possiblity?
Cheers

Hello Ovechkin11,
in your case, the notebook should normally be disassembled and checked. Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed. Furthermore, the function of the fan must be checked. General cleaning ...
If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook repair store.
Please enter Bios and try to activate the fan "Always on" function in your case.
Please report your results.
best regards
