Hi all:
The left and right arrow keys (cursor navigation "home" & "end" keys) are not working and I believe this is a hardware issue. I have run the HW diagnostic keyboard tool and it's clear that those 2 keyboard keys (left arrow "home" / right arrow "end") do not show as having been pressed, where all the other keys do show as receiving input from the system tool. The pg up and pg down keys do work as expected. My PC is 100% up to date on all drivers.
My PC is a few months out of warranty but I'd like to get this fixed under a "shadow warranty" as I see this problem is not uncommon and most likely a manufacturing or design defect impacting multiple devices. The laptop is in as new condition and used mostly within my home.
What's my best strategy for bringing this up with HP to get this fixed? If HP won't fix it, I probably won't spend anything to address this as I can just use the touchpad but it's a PITA and upsetting for such an expensive item, I expect more from HP at this pricepoint.
Thanks...

I'm still disappointed in such an early keyboard failure on a pretty expensive laptop, but I did find a workaround for all those suffering from the same issue.
Microsoft Powertoys features a keyboard mapping tool that allowed me to map <ctrl> + L to left arrow and <ctrl> + H to right arrow (of course you can pick any mapping you want, that one should be familiar to vi users; I also mapped <ctrl> + J/K to up/down as in vi).
It's actually more convenient then having to move my fingers to the arrow keys anyway, so I won't have to sell this laptop after all! The only problem is now I keep thinking I'm using vi when I'm typing!
