HP Spectre x360 13”
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got a HP Spectre x360 13” as a gift from my relative in September 2018 when I started my college. It worked in the best condition for 13 months. I absolutely LOVED using it because honestly, it’s a masterpiece of a laptop. Except it suddenly stopped working one day in November of 2019, 2 weeks before my finals.
I went to the official HP service centre and they gave me a quotation upward of $800 (as the product was out of warranty) claiming that the motherboard was totally done for and HAD to be replaced. The only things I have ever done on the laptop are basic day to day school stuff; never run any games or graphic intensive software on the laptop.

It’s been over 2 years that my laptop stopped working. I am still looking for a solution as I have never used a laptop as smooth and handy as this one. Hoping that HP Support has a solution for me.

Unlikely 2 years after the fact. The motherboard can be replaced for less than $800 but it is not inexpensive.
