Hi,
I am the latest victim of the HP Spectre X360 motherboard issue. Laptop is out of warranty, and I brought it to a shop which diagnosed it was the motherboard issue, Just found out that I am not the only one who has this problem. Was asked to replace the motherboard for $500. Should I?

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Updates: I was contacted by HP and routrd to the EMEA team customer service due to my current location, but as my laptop was purchased in Malaysia, I was told they could not support the case and the model I had, HP replacement part is no longer manufactured. I find it hard to believe as HP Spectre x360 i7 is still in the market, and I was not given any alternative options. Does anyone have any recommendations?
