Hi.
I have a client's HP Spectre x360 13-4129na which developed a power fault in that the laptop no longer receives power and won't turn on. When plugged in, if you press the power button, the power light blinks three times, then nothing.
From researching this issue I find it's a common problem with this model and there's some argument about whether the product should have been recalled. Although the laptop is out of warranty my client feels that it should be repaired by HP.
Please could you let me know what next steps my client can take, whether this can be repaired without charge as it's a known common fault, or what the cost would be for HP to repair?
Many thanks

Hah! So it turns out the battery was just completed flat! It needed a good half-hour to charge and then it sprang back into life!
I guess I got so caught up reading about people affected by a motherboard issue for this model that I assumed that this laptop had the same issue.
The page you linked helped and I'm all sorted.
Thank you very much!
