Hi There!
I am an owner of HP stream 11 laptop which runs on Windows 10. I bought it a few days ago. I am 19-year old student from the UK studying Level 3 Print Media & Journalism. I can't remember how much GB was already installed when I first started up the device. Think RAM said it was 8GB.
It was originally in S mode (can't remember how much GB was already installed) but had to switch out because I had to install Adobe software such as Photoshop and InDesign because, as a creative media student, I need them to do portions of my work.
I have since had to uninstall them to create space to allow Windows and systems to update. I now only have 2.04 GB left out of about 31GB storage at time of writing. I've done loads of temporary files deletions to try and fix this but because of constant updates as mentioned above, I don't have a lot of space left.
Starting to think I've wasted my time and £180 of money on this thing and I need to use Adobe programs but can't because of this thing. I need it to complete my assignments during this pandemic.
Any help or advice people can give me?

Yes you have a problem on your hands. I have written a KB piece on optimizing disk space usage in the cloudbooks such as yours that have a 32 gig eMMC device as the storage.
You definitely want to get a micro SD card to insert and use as storage for any files you want to store long-term. Maybe if Adobe is all you install it would work but I think not. You are going to find the processor in that laptop does not really provide enough power to do any kind of content creation work. Wish you would have asked for some recommendations here before you bought it with that intent.

I am thinking of returning it and getting a refund now anyway!
Do you know of any other laptops which are of similar price + has more storage space + which is beneficial to my creative media work?
Thanks for your reply anyway!

You just cannot hope to get much of a laptop for 180 pounds or about 225 dollars.
If that is your budget I suggest you look for something used or refurbished. You need at least an i5 processor and at least 8 gigs of memory and at least like a 160 gig hard drive and preferably an SSD. Hate to plug a non-HP product but there are lots of refurb laptops on UK amazon:
