Example: Stream 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It seems after buying many previous HP products, my loyalty is misplaced.

I have absolutely no interest in messing about for hours staring at screens trying to fathom out techno bable, but have tried some of the fixes mentioned here all to no avail.

has anyone at HP created something I can click on that means the useless but pretty blue box will actually work?

No excuses please just a fix or its heading to the skip and I will avoid HP for ever more.

Just imagine you buy a new car, after filling up you need to re-wire it.......no, that would be unacceptable.

thanks for link, but I don't have a clue what any of that means.

I cant download a clean copy copy of windows to a flash drive because the machine does not have enough memory (it says it needs 8gb) there are absolutely no files on it, zip, nothing.

Trying to return to Windows 8.1 version just doesn't appear anywhere in recovery mode, which itself doesn't seem to do much.

that's about sum total of my ability (and patience)

I think I have resigned myself to dumping it in the bin and buying something that works. I wonder what the carbon footprint of scrapped HP Streams adds upto, tech companies really need to get their act together.

From my Windows Phone

Having taken advice elsewhere the HP Stream is on its way to be recycled (hopefully) and I did the sensible thing, gone Apple. Seamless and will use best of Microsoft as needed

Adios HP
