HP Stream 14
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi.

I am buying the HP Stream 14" HD Laptop.

I am wondering is there a slot to use a micro sd card to add space?

I would be buying this one : https://www.amazon.ca/SanDisk-SDSQUAR-256G-GN6MA-Ultra-256GB-microSDXC-Adapter/dp/B0758NHWS8

Does anyone know if they are compatible ?

thanks

Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs for that model...

https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c05272281

It comes with a multi-format SD media card reader, which means it is a standard size SD card reader slot, but a micro SD card should work if it comes with one of those adapters.

Now as far as the capacity, I haven't read what the specs are for that.

Most folks have installed 64 GB or smaller size SD cards.

So any standard SD card will work ? I can find one of those.

Yes, but once again...I don't know how large a capacity that card reader will read.

Certainly 64 GB, but beyond that, I don't know.

There are no specs listing the SD card max GB card reading capacity.
