USB ports are not available after a reinstallation of windows 10;  HCI USB host compatible controller problem: "windows cannot verify the numerical signature of the driver required for this device"

Try Windows update to see if there is one available.

 

You can also try using the Device Manager to roll back the driver to the previous version if that feature is not greyed out.

Thanks a lot for your advice; I have tried several time to desinstall the driver of the controller and restart the computer but without success. It is reloading the same default driver which is not compatible (USBXHCI.sys).

I could not find anything in windows update regarding  HP driver but  I have installed all windows 10 updates.

I also could not find any driver for USB controller for my computer on HP website.

I guess I have to ask HP directly...
