Hello, i've tried to install nvme ssd drive to my laptop but system and bios not recognize it. I had even deleted Windows from main hard drive, diasbled security boot etc. Bios is updated to the newest version. SSD working fine on other PC. Question mainly to HP team.. Why M slot is on it, but not working with SSD drives ?

Every M.2 slot in a HP notebook or desktop PC looks like it will support a NVMe SSD.
You have to read the service manual and see what is supported.
Some slots support NVMe only, some support SATA only and some support both.
The problem with your notebook's service manual is that it does not provide what configurations a NVMe SSD will work on.
It just indicates SATA and NVMe.

There is no way you will get a NVMe SSD to work in the notebooks that came with a 64 GB eMMC drive.

Hi:
Yes, your notebook's M.2 slot only supports a SATA M.2 SSD on the models that come with eMMC drives.
NVMe SSD's are only supported in the notebooks that came with a SSD from the factory.
You will need to exchange the NVMe SSD for a SATA one such as the Western Digital Blue SA510.
