HP Suppoert Assistant is not showing the right device/model name of my laptop. How do I fix/change/edit this? It is sending me and showing me wrong device specs when I click on 'device details'?

 

Also I don't think my device name is right either when I check it from "settings". I mean, it wasn't the same before inserting SSD.

 

I want my original/default product name. Help me. This problem is occurring after inserting a SSD. Thanks.

Hi @JBKRobin,

If the product and serial are same then you need not worry as the model number might vary.

Press Fn Key + esc key. If the product and serial number matches then you are good.
