I'd like to do this BIOS update, but cannot make it happen.  Anyone know why?

HP Support Assistant: HP System BIOS Update Utility

There is not enough free space to complete the System BIOS And Device Firmware update operation.  Delete some files to free disk space then retry again.

I got the BIOS Update.
Instead of running update from the 'messages' prompt on the "HP Support Assistant", I clicked the 'Home' icon, then "run hardware diagnostics" which presents a "Check BIOS" brick, did that and the BIOS updated successfully.  When I repeat, it says bios is up-to-date.

Perform a disk cleanup.

Type disk cleanup in the search box and click on the disk cleanup app.

You should be able to delete the Windows.old folder through use of the Disk Cleanup.

Disk cleanup was ran immediately before the attempt.  I ran the 'system cleanup'  from disk cleanup, as well as went to settings and did the remove files there.

My laptop occasionally 'crashes', presents the collecting data and will reboot automatically scree, and also occasionally disconnects from the internet connection and will only reconnect with a reboot.  no Idea if the BIOS update will help with this, but the Support assistant tool shows the update is available, so I'd like to try.
