My laptop is intermittently making loud buzzing noises. I'm following community advice to update the BIOS, using HP Support Assistant. HP Support Assistant checks and says BIOS needs to be updated and ask if I agree. I agree, it then comes back and says test complete and BIOS update installed, but it hasn't. When I run utility again it says it's still at backdated F.22-06/01/2020 level.
I then ran the Virtual Assistant advanced troubleshooter.. it says to go up to HP Software & Driver and download BIOS. My machine is running WIndows 11 and software drivers and BIOS updates are not listed.
Where do I get the BIOS update for my laptop?

I had powered off my laptop after I posted and plugged in my laptop over night. When I powered on this morning, during the Boot process, the BIOS was updated. The PC Support Assistant must have downloaded the executable for the BIOS the day before, and was waiting for a hard boot, while the laptop was plugged in for the BIOS to be installed. I also used the HP Command Center to turn “COOL MODE” on.
The PC Support Assistant now says I’m at the latest BIOS. The ‘BUZZ’ has gone.
It would be really helpful if HP updated the system messages for BIOS upgrade in the PC Support Assistant to say “downloaded” rather than “installed, test passed” and call out the next steps for the install to be completed (i.e. suspend bit locker, shutdown laptop, ensure plugged in).
