HP ENVY Notebook 13-ab007na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
2nd problem since I started up the laptop this afternoon!. First problem is that my system is saying it is a '13-ab0xx' when I bought a '13-ab007na'. Is this correct?.

Now I have an 'Update' for Intel High-Definition Graphics Driver. Which I thought was good because I don't think the videos are in full HD I have tried to watch so far.

But it says when I update that I already have a newer version installed? Can anyone shed any light on these problems?.

Thanks.

G.

The model number is correct. The xs are wild cards which can be replaced with anything so your model is within that pattern.

The HP updater often will not know if you get a driver update through Windows Update so might find out when it starts to install that there is already a newer version. Since it is a new laptop the driver update would do very minor things and is not going to change the resolution for videos. You have a very high resolution screen and assuming the videos you are playing are shot in HD you should be able to adjust the player to pay them at that resolution.
