Good day,
Today, I received my Omen 16 laptop back after almost a month of repairs. Unfortunately, I immediately noticed that the casing, both on the top and bottom, has slight scratches, signs of wear, and damage. I have already reported this to your support team and uploaded the relevant pictures.
Despite the damage, I went ahead and set up the laptop again, installed updates, and configured my programs. However, when testing the graphics card in various games, the laptop crashed after just a very short time (seconds to a few minutes). I used your HP diagnostic tools, installed and repeatedly checked the latest drivers for Windows, NVIDIA, and the Microsoft Store. Even manually downloaded drivers from your website and the Nvidia website led to the same result: the games that previously ran without issues now crash immediately (tested with Xbox Game Pass, Steam, Battle.net, Ubisoft).
As a further step, I completely reset the laptop, only installed Windows and graphics card updates, and did not install any other programs. Even in this state, the game crashed right away.
In summary: the laptop was returned not only damaged but also defective. The issue seems to be with the graphics card. I am truly disappointed, upset, and at a loss as to how this could happen.
I urgently request a quick resolution. I am not looking to cause trouble—quite the opposite. If everything worked, I would have no issue. But this situation and the so-called "repair" are simply unacceptable.
I once again urgently request prompt handling, feedback, and this time, a working solution.
Thank you and kind regards,
Stefan Weber
