The detect my PC function on the HP support site, gets the Part Number(8FP99TU#ABA) and Serial Correct ([Personal Information Removed]) and then calls it a ZBook 17 G3. The system is a ZBook 17 G6.
Obviously I have something confused somewhere and I need help finding where
Clicking the link for the G3 system takes me to a G6 page. However the "find drivers feature" then complains that the PC is not the correct system for that feature.
The download and install tool fails to install with error -3. Multiple failures. I am current with Win11 24H2 and my other ZBook G6 works correctly.

According to the parts list you do have a HP ZBook 17 G6.
Below is the link to the driver page for your PC:

Paul Tikkanen -
At this point I am choosing to believe the issue is with use of a cookie with incorrect data in it.
I have been unable to apply a Microsoft update and not even able to reload 24H2 from an iso sucessfully. The errors do not make much sense for a Zbook G6. My G3 updated nicely so I imaged the OS partition and copied to the G6 devices.
Now I am showing current on Microsoft Update, and with a number of driver loads, HP Support Assistant is in agreement. There is a bit of contention between the NVIDIA cuda tool set and the most recent HP release. Both seem to work so the 'cuda tools get what they want.
Is there a command to the HP tools to clear any stored data and look again? Inspecting the ones from this page identified an inconsistency. Removing them looks like the right option for HP. Removing ALL Cookies would cause me to forget where I was on other sites and I would prefer not to do that.
Thanks
