I have searched and not found anything about this specifically, but thought I would ask here. I have a Thunderbolt 120W G2 dock and it works well, but I am trying to upgrade to a new 4k monitor - the BenQ EW3280U - with HDR and great speakers.
My problem is that the monitor doesn't seem to want to wake from sleep unless I pull the dock USB C connector and put it back in.
Anyone else having similar issues? I have the dock updated to the latest firmware - the DP hub is 5.4.0.5, which should be the affected part - while the monitor is sleeping, the ethernet and USB A ports work. The monitor will not wake up from the DisplayPort or the USB C port - either one behaves the same way.

Hello
which is the computer model ?
with other HP monitor , sometimes is needed to disable "power saving mode" , it doesn't means monitor will not save power, but some electronic stay awake and understand to power-on to display because configure exit sleep mode.
Check if BenqQ monitor has some saving energy setting that could influence this behaviour.
