Hey guys,
I bought gaming laptop hp omen 17-an115nm 4ud23ea and thunderbolt 3 dock 230w g2 w/ combo cable and noticed that it's not compatible with the laptop because there is no power connector near to thunderbolt connector on the laptop. The laptop has a 230w charger, the same that came with the dock. Is there a way to use the dock with this laptop without the physical splitting of the cable with some kind of adapter cable?
Thank you!
Best

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether you can use the G2 dock with your computer using an adapter.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I checked the specifications of your dock and it is not compatible with your computer and you will not be able to use it with any adapter or a splitter.
I hope that asnwers your question and you have a great day!
