I am writing to talk about a problem with my HP ENVY laptop 13-ba1000 trackpad that is affecting its functionality negatively.
After 2 years of using this laptop, I have noticed that the trackpad coating had begun wearing off, and over the past year the problem has gotten worse with more use. Considering my laptop has premium specifications and as a loyal customer of HP, I expected it to have better durability for a longer period of time, making this incredibly disappointing.
After contacting HP Care within the extended warranty that I paid for I was not offered a solution, and after seeing many other people with the same problem I am appalled at the quality. I urge HP to take this matter seriously and offer a real solution as I have not seen this problem with other companies.
What can be done to fix this?

Trackpads are easily by dust particles as the finger moves over the surface. Fingernail are even worse.

look for the touchpad part. Possibly L96805-001 but I am guessing and the color might be different.
