Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

     My brand new HP laptop does not appear to be compatible with its new HP USB-C Dock G5 - Essential docking station. It does not charge the battery or feed power to my external monitors. I searched for support and there is no User Guide but some of the user conversations suggest that this is normal. If so, how is that possible - that two HP products are incompatible!

     If anyone has a clue as to how I can get this product to work for me, I would love to hear it. Otherwise, suggestions on a docking station that DOES work with my HP Z-book are needed.
