Product: HP USB-C™ Elite Dock
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I own a HP USB-C™ Elite Dock (X7W54AA) which charges my old notebook with usb-c connector.

I recently acquired a HP ZBook x2 G4 (4QH82EA).

The Elite Dock seems to work, except for charging the ZBOOK (despite X7W54AA being quoted on ZBook x2 G4 QuickSpecs as a compatibler dock.

Any clue how to make the dock charge the zbook ?

They are not compatible. zBook x2 G4 machines are compatible with the ZBook Dock with Thunderbolt 3, not old HP USB-C™ Elite Dock (X7W54AA) dock.

Thank you for your answer, but from my understanding, that is not what the "HP ZBook x2 G4 Quickstart" document is saying (page 39 of https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c05386169)

Am  I misreading ?
