Product: HP ProBook 640 G5 Notebook PC IDS Base Model
Hi!
I currently own ProBook 640 G5 connected to the HP USB-C G5 dock. In order to get 4K@60Hz, I need to activate in the BIOS " Enable High Resolution mode when connected to a USB-C DP a lot mode dock" (otherwise it is stuck @30Hz). However, as documented, this reduces dock USB ports to 2.0 speeds and the Gigabit Ethernet to about 300Mbps which sucks (backups to external HDD are slow and my Internet link is about 800Mbps). Do current Probook models (G8) also have this limitation or can they work with 4K@60Hz over this G5 USB-C dock with full Gigabit Ethernet and USB3 speeds?
