Hello,
I bought USB-C mini dock (https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-usb-c-mini-dock) to use it together with my Elitebook x360 830 G5. It functions fine unless the charging cable is plugged into the docking station. When I plug in the USB-C charging cable to dedicated USB-C port on the docking station, the laptop is being charged but all other functions of the docking station are just gone (i.e. external display disconnects, external USB keyboard disconnects - seems no ports on the docking station work in such scenario). When I unplug the charging USB-C cable from the docking station, everything goes back to fine (external display again connected, same for external keyboard).
I do have another USB-C port on the laptop, so I can connect charging cable directly to the laptop but then I am loosing one USB-C port and I do not think this is normal expected behaviour of the docking station, especially when it has dedicated charging port. From the product description it seems it should work together with my laptop model.
Thank you for any help in advance.
Regards
Michal

Hello,
I think this: "HP Elitebook x360" means whole Elitebook x360 product line. It does not say what model. There is no model named purely "HP Elitebook x360". On the official HP shop in Slovakia it says my model is supported. I think company HP does no update their information correctly. I am not able to find the product using the serial number (I tried two different serial numbers as I already did official claim, the official service center in Slovakia confirmed the issue and they sent me another piece - with the same result though). I assume it might be problem with the drivers/firmware. I have installed all driver updates provided for my laptop model (including BIOS update), but nothing helps.
SN of mini dock I currently have is: 1CW9171820
