It lists for external ports: 1) USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port; 5 Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge).
Power Delivery means the USB-C port can accept an incoming charge to the battery and to run the laptop using an appropriate charger. The Service Manual:

says the USB-C port is data transfer only, however, which would mean it cannot be used to charge. The AC adapters listed in the Service Manual are both barrel type adapters 150W or 200W. That is a bit strong for a USB-C adapter. My best guess is that you cannot charge your laptop through the USB-C port but it might work.
