Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. I have the laptop mentioned in the subject with the following specs:

Intel® Core i7-13700H processor (3.0 - 5.0GHz)

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 8GB graphics

RAM (GB)16
RAM typeDDR4 SDRAM
RAM speeds3200
SSD storage512GB
SSD form factorM.2

Question 1:
In another thread, I found out that I can upgrade my ram to 64GB (2X32GB) but now my question is, does this laptop support DDR 5 rams or not? if it does, can i still upgrade to 64GB DDR5?

Question 2:
In another question, I want to know if there is a way that I can check the internal SSD specifications from seller websites, to see if a SSD drive is not too big for the slot I have.

Thanks!

@Mani-Yazdi,

It's not possible to install the DDR5 memory in a DDR4 slot.

The DDR5 memory module physically doesn't fit in a DDR4 slot. Also, DDR5 runs at a lower voltage than DDR4.

M.2 NVMe SSDs have no capacity limit. You can replace the current 512 GB NVMe drive with one with a larger capacity, 1 TB, 2 TB or more.
