Common problems for Battery

I am experiencing a structural issue with my HP Victus 15 (purchased August 2024), where the display panel near the hinge has started separating slightly.

The hinge itself is functioning normally:

  • No stiffness
  • No unusual noise
  • Laptop opens/closes smoothly

However, the panel near the hinge has lifted, indicating a possible issue with the internal mounting structure.

Upon reviewing other user experiences, I found that multiple Victus 15 users have reported similar hinge-area problems, particularly involving:

  • Panel separation near hinges
  • Weakening of internal hinge mounts
  • Occurrence after normal usage

This suggests that the issue may not be isolated.

I visited an HP service point and was advised a full hinge and back panel replacement, which seems excessive given that the hinge is still fully functional. I have handled the device carefully, and there has been no accidental damage.
I would like to request support or guidance from HP regarding this issue, and consideration for a goodwill repair if applicable.
