Hi @HuseyinS38,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
For your HP Victus 15 (FA0011NT), here are the maximum upgrade specifications.
Maximum SSD Size:
- Your laptop supports M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe SSDs.
- The maximum supported SSD size is 2TB, though a 4TB drive may also work depending on BIOS support and the physical space for the drive. However, for practical purposes, a 2TB SSD is a good choice to ensure compatibility with your system.
Maximum RAM Size:
- The HP Victus 15 typically supports up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM (2 x 16GB).
- 64GB of RAM (2 x 32GB) may not be supported by the motherboard or BIOS, so it's important to verify this in the HP support manual or through official channels for confirmation. I would recommend going with 32GB to avoid potential compatibility issues.
Compatibility of the Parts You Mentioned:
- Corsair Vengeance 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR4 RAM:
- Potential Issue: As mentioned, your laptop likely supports 32GB RAM max (2 x 16GB). Installing 64GB might not work if the motherboard or BIOS doesn't support it. It’s better to double-check the system’s specifications, but the 32GB kit is highly likely to be compatible.
- Western Digital WD Black SN770 2TB NVMe SSD:
- Compatible: The WD Black SN770 2TB SSD (with speeds of 5150MB/s read and 4850MB/s write) is compatible with your laptop, as it supports M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe drives, and the SSD's speed is within a good range for gaming.
Note:
- The 2TB SSD (WD Black SN770) should be compatible with your HP Victus 15, and it’s a solid choice for faster storage.
- For RAM, I'd recommend opting for 32GB (2 x 16GB) instead of 64GB unless you're sure your laptop can handle the higher capacity. Corsair Vengeance RAM is typically reliable, but please verify the max RAM supported by your specific laptop model first.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
