Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598V2AV)

Hello HP Community,

I recently purchased an HP Victus 15 laptop from the UK, and I'm currently living in Hungary. I have a couple of questions:

I'm considering opening up my laptop to clean the vents. Does doing so void the warranty? I want to ensure I'm following the correct procedure.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Warranty is a grey/gray area, very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something or fixing something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts .

However you can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.

Hope this makes sense.

Regards.

I quite understand what you said and I was also expecting a reply like this so yes now it's clear to me that clearing the vents is ok but if any parts is damaged that Voids s the  warranty
