I have a Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 with 8x1 gb ram 3200MHz DDR4. I want to upgrade.
my question is what is the maximum in ram specs that i can upgrade to. Does my device support DDR5? and upto what MHz?

One thing you cannot change is the DDR4-3200 Mhz specification. Higher bandwidth memory wil just downclock to the default 3200 MHz/
The maximum installed memory that Crucial memory guarantees is compatible will be 64 GB.

The HP Maintenance & Service guide specification state 16 GB.

Kingston Memory guarantees that 32 GB of their memory is compatible.

I would go with the Kingston memory option.
MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode.
