I have this laptop: https://www.hp.com/hu-hu/products/laptops/product-details/2101826856
After some research on this forum board and other websites I came to the conclusion that HP only supports its business notebooks to use the feature for limiting the battery charge (via Battery Health Manager or Adaptive Battery Optimizer neither of which can be enabled on this laptop series) to 80 or 60 percents. This feature is important because it heavily influences the battery's life and also a keystone for preventing battery swelling issues. This model is mainly designed for constant wall charging use rather than battery use yet this feature was overlooked completely. Not only that, but when I wanted to see if there were any BIOS updates available I checked the official drivers page available for my model, and it only had F.10 Rev A version of the BIOS when even currently right after purchase my computer has BIOS version F.11 somehow so the only available update is an even older version than the one pre-installed which makes no sense to me.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am satisfied with the product thus far, but without this feature, I am afraid my satisfaction will not be long-term. Please do something regarding this issue as it has been voiced by many other purchasers of Victus laptops that there is a real need for battery charge limiting options.

Hello, I was aware of the option to activate the Adaptive Battery Optimization through the BIOS, but from my understanding this only activates when the battery actually starts getting damaged basically as a result of not being able to limit the percentage of charging manually like in the HP Business model notebooks. Besides my laptop shows that the Adaptive Battery Optimization is enabled, but not activated. Its a new laptop so makes sense so far, I guess it's safe to assume that once it "activates" itself my battery is already encountering degradation issues.
